The Challenge
The Marketing Technology team works alongside the publishing label’s Marketing, Community and PR teams leading and supporting the underlying technology used for paid, owned, and earned marketing activity.
Working as part of the MarTech team, the Jr. Marketing Technology Product Manager`s core responsibilities include owning the entire technology life cycle, and interpreting business needs through their integration into productized solutions. This role requires understanding of paid media marketing platforms, and experience in running projects; acting as the bridge between business leads and vendors.

It’s demanding, but incredibly rewarding as you can directly see the results from your efforts as they get applied into practice by each team, whilst working with innovative technology and marketing strategies.
What You’ll Take On
Within the first 90 days: Become acquainted with the MarTech solutions currently used by each of our labels and their role within each team’s paid media strategy. In addition, they will develop an understanding of our project workflow in relation to supporting existing/upcoming products.
Within 180 days: Take ownership for the daily operations (account support, troubleshooting and optimizations) of various technologies within our portfolio and develop a roadmap for capability improvements whilst increasing adoption within each supported marketing team.
What You Bring
- 2-4 years experience with product management experience supporting marketing teams – capabilities and development focus
- Running multiple projects and roadmaps concurrently
- Experience working with Marketing, PR, Customer Service, Analytics, and Community functions, KPI’s, terms etc. (Ability to converse and understand the teams needs with minimal education)
- Solid understanding of enterprise level technology solutions including hosting, enterprise software solutions and hardware implementation projects
- Experience in working with technical business partners identifying problem areas, bottlenecks, and resolving with scalable solutions while providing guidance and training for business leads and power users
- Interpret business needs to solution requirements; manage scope, acceptance criteria, definition of done, etc; it is vital to go above the minimum project requirements, identifying critical needs and possible solutions before they may even be known, and have the persistence to introduce and secure adoption of related ideas and plans
- Superb communication and presentation skills spanning business and technical audiences
- Ability to establish and develop strong relationships both in-person and virtual with business and project customers to ensure that goals are met
Foundational awareness of:
- Paid media targeting and measurement strategies (online identifiers, DSPs, ad networks, ad servers, etc)
- Business intelligence, visualization, data structures
- Platform and data security/privacy laws
Great to Have:
- Experience in the advertising industry (agency/media publisher)
- Practical experience with Data Onboarding platforms (LiveRamp), Digital Paid Media solutions (Social, Display, Search, Video), DMP’s or CDP’s, Web analytics/tracking technology

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $101,200 and $113,800 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
