Java Developer

We are looking for a Java Developer to join the Kyiv office on a full-time basis.

The position is remote with future relocation to Kyiv.

Core R&D is a department that develops core services that can be used in any company game. Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop new microservices infrastructure, monitor production incidents, trace and debug business transactions
• Develop and implement new features
• Design new technical solutions, improve performance and optimize current data processing algorithms
• Implement new features on backend services for UI development
• Collaborate with other teams and game studios inside Playtika in order to provide fast integration with their services
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience of Java (11+)
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
• Multithreading
• Strong awareness of current web development standards and frameworks (e.g. Spring Framework)
• Desire to write tests
• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and autonomy
• Upper - intermediate English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Big Data
• Experience with NoSQL (Aerospike/Elasticsearch)
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Messaging systems (Kafka)
• Experience with high-loaded systems
• Agile environment experience
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
