Job Overview
The successful Marketing and PR manager will oversee Wargaming’s premium PC product, World of Tanks, within the Japan market. In this role, you’ll be a dedicated business leader, shaping the future of our product and you will be creating a complete integrated marketing experience across media planning, internal and external communications as well as forging strategic partnerships within Japan. You’ll help shape the voice of the product and grow a loyal community by determining its positioning, conducting key competitive analysis as well as being a key leader within the core Japan World of Tanks team
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of understanding of acquisition techniques, brand building, and local media dynamics. They must have a track record of strong, cross-functional coordination and exhibit robust analytical and communication skills.

Regional Product Marketing Manager, World of Tanks PC (Singapore)
What will you do?
- Work closely with key partners within Japan to develop measurable acquisition campaigns as well as build long term strategic acquisition opportunities within the market.
- Develop and manage player segmentation, identify and describe core target audience; prepare a target player profile, create target player group descriptions for marketing activities
- Bridge the gap between regional marketing to country office and vice versa.
- Develop key messages for strategic and tactical advertising campaigns as well as assist in copy localization ad hoc.
- Detailed post analysis reporting on campaigns with clearly defined recommendations and solutions.
- Explore PR and partnership opportunities to both amplify campaign metrics as well as create narratives to reach both new and existing players.
- Track and assess competitor activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key external media partners as well as key agencies.
What are we looking for?
- Proven cases of developing and evolving successful acquisition campaigns.
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing discipline (videogames marketing a plus)
- A strong understanding of the Japan media landscape and key Japan media partners.
- Experience with maximizing budgets and generating synergy across media and PR.
- Passion for games (our game projects preferably)
- Native Japanese speaker.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
- Dedicated team player with a positive attitude
- Drive for constant personal development and the development of your field

- Strong understanding of the premium F2P PC games market both in Japan and globally
- A passion for videogames.
