Investment Associate/Principal

THE OPPORTUNITY: Investment Associate/Principal

We are looking for an Investment Associate/Principal to assist our team in all aspects of working with our network of venture capital firms and strategic partners. In this role, you will foster partnerships, manage deal pipelines support in fund management as well as principal investing. As a member of the Investment team, you will work closely with our CSO and the Corporate Development team in Korea

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Attend and participate in partner meetings such as TenOneTen Ventures
• Lead evaluation of incoming deals from NCSOFT’s partner investors for co-investment opportunities as well as open innovation-based collaboration
• Identify investment themes and support new fund selection and run due diligence
• Run diligence and preliminary assessment of attractive start up related opportunities
• Analyze and report performance of LP funds
• Facilitate communication and provide regular updates to senior management and key internal stakeholders

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• 5+ years of work experience in tech startup investment ecosystem
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information into concise and digestible manner
• Experience at incubators, accelerators, and/or open innovation platforms with direct experience in managing communication and partner relationships
• Understanding of recent trends in games, linear/interactive media and deep tech such as AI, Cloud, Web3
• Ability to work independently, but also as a team player
