Inventory ManagerSummary
The Inventory Manager is responsible for the overall integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory of the company in the APAC region. The Inventory Manager will be a critical member of the operations team that will help drive positive culture change for our inventory processes. This position will be responsible for planning, executing and reconciliation of full physical inventories and cycle count processes as well as control of inventory across the APAC region. This position will also play a key role in managing relationships with internal support groups and in the development of inventory strategies to improve efficiencies and reduce variance. Working collaboratively across the Aristocrat organisation, you will drive regional excellence and contribute to the global success of the organisation.What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a high performing inventory team and culture by motivating staff to maximise performance and grow capabilities.
- Develop and execute inventory KPIs to drive departmental performance and ensure achievement and compliance with the operational strategy across its safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.
- Manage the Australia, New Zealand and Macau inventory teams to develop and optimise inventory plans while maintaining accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
- Identify root causes of inventory deviation through cause and effects analysis.
- Manage engineering change requests, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and policies.
- Ensure continuous improvement and optimisation of inventory systems, processes, and procedures to improve and transform our inventory operational performance.
- Actively engage with safety initiatives and promote a safety culture across the site.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, managing the resolution of issues such as stock variances, material shortages, deviation requirements and disposition of obsolete inventory.
- Facilitate inventory audits with our internal and external financial business partners and provide inventory reporting packs where required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business administration or related.
- 5+ years of experience in an Inventory managerial role.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Hands on experience with warehouse management databases.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and lead staff.
- Solid financial and commercial manufacturing acumen.
- Proactive technical thinker.
- Strong attention to detail and data analysis.
