Inventory Manager

Summary

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a high performing inventory team and culture by motivating staff to maximise performance and grow capabilities.
• Develop and execute inventory KPIs to drive departmental performance and ensure achievement and compliance with the operational strategy across its safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.
• Manage the Australia, New Zealand and Macau inventory teams to develop and optimise inventory plans while maintaining accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
• Identify root causes of inventory deviation through cause and effects analysis.
• Manage engineering change requests, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and policies.
• Ensure continuous improvement and optimisation of inventory systems, processes, and procedures to improve and transform our inventory operational performance.
• Actively engage with safety initiatives and promote a safety culture across the site.
• Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, managing the resolution of issues such as stock variances, material shortages, deviation requirements and disposition of obsolete inventory.
• Facilitate inventory audits with our internal and external financial business partners and provide inventory reporting packs where required.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business administration or related.
• 5+ years of experience in an Inventory managerial role.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, CRM, and ERP systems.
• Hands on experience with warehouse management databases.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and lead staff.
• Solid financial and commercial manufacturing acumen.
• Proactive technical thinker.
• Strong attention to detail and data analysis.
