Red Storm Entertainment has an exciting opportunity for a talented International Product Manager (marketing) to join our AAA development team working on our next big release! If you are passionate about games and game marketing, collaborate well, can drive the vision of the launch and LIVE strategies, and actively participate in positioning AAA quality games this may be the job for you!
This role reports directly to the Marketing & Brand Director and facilitates and spearheads all operations touching on brand strategy for a successful franchise product and its deployment across multiple regions. In coordination with the worldwide marketing teams and the game LIVE operations, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of the marketing strategy of the game throughout its life (from conception to LIVE), by ensuring the team is set up for success and that results meet consumer expectations. Your leadership and organizational skills will empower your team members to execute different communication tactics and produce marketing deliverables of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
- As a brand ambassador, you will contribute to the market strategy and its founding principles, in collaboration with others.
- Responsible for maintaining an open flow of information across the organization and for supporting the team in achieving the same.
- As a product manager, you will coordinate the launching of campaigns with international teams and supervise the online strategy to ensure it matches internal and external expectations.
- Supervising the development, production scheduling, and final quality of deliverables, looking for potential risks, and ultimately responsible for the final delivery of assets/files for the marketing campaigns
- The gatekeeper of the consistency and quality of the marketing assets and presentations produced for the game in light of its franchise.
- Organize, manage and grow the Brand Team to empower them to deliver to the best of their capacity while caring for their well-being.
- Support collaboration within the franchise, across global teams and their different projects.
- Manage the marketing budget in collaboration with the Brand Director and internal stakeholders.
- Participate to the definition of the positioning of the game by staying on top of the tendencies of the market (trends, competitors and their differences, best practices…) as well as tracking factors of success and holding people accountable against them.
- Maintain a broad overview of the market trends in our vertical.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education with practical business experience in Marketing or similar business roll
- 5 years of experience in Marketing or Business Development in Games, Entertainment, or consumer products
- Ability to act with honesty and humility, to co-operate easily with other people around the studio,
- Exhibits an inclusive attitude, fosters an open line of feedback.
- Experience shaping marketing roadmaps and user experiences through actionable insights and recommendations
- Experience in product branding, messaging, positioning, targeting, and multi-country product launches
- Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and internationally
- Capacity to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build comradery, provide an atmosphere for brainstorming, collaborative feedback
- Excellent communicator, organized, and with a strong sense of initiative
- Diplomacy and keen understanding of how to work with creative profiles.
- Ability to delegate to others
- Independent reasoning skills, which enables you to handle unexpected situations, sharing your point of view and supporting it with an intelligent use of data in the right setting.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment over multiple time zones that runs with different priorities at once.
