What you’ll do
As a key member of the Global Finance team, the International Financial Controller manages all accounting and financial functions for Epic Games, Inc.’s non-US subsidiaries. This includes management of subsidiaries spanning 10+ countries, partnering with regional GMs to assist in achieving their business goals, assist in M&A activities and integrations, manage financial month end close, annual audits, international tax, payroll, A/P and A/R.
In this role, you will
- Partner with regional leaders across Epic’s non-US subsidiaries
- Manage financial and operational issues related to the company's international subsidiaries
- Be responsible for preparing monthly financial reporting, providing effective access to information for appropriate staff and business partners, and taking the lead in financial best practices
- Assist in merger and acquisition diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Coordinate the preparation of the Annual Plan and Forecasts for the revenue, expenses, and cash flows as inputs to the annual planning cycle
- Maintain intercompany accounts
- Be responsible for supervising annual audit processes and preparing supporting documentation
- Be responsible for overseeing the internal control on a global basis and continually reviewing such controls and processes to improve and create efficiencies
- Ensure Group accounting standards are applied
- Manage VAT and tax filings for subsidiaries
- Manage external service providers and advisors
What we’re looking for
- 10-15 years experience in a senior level accounting position within a global organization
- Proven track record of success facilitating organizational change and development within a growing organization
- Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Hands-on attitude
- Knowledge of financial data and accounting systems (Workday a plus)
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
