International Communications Associate

The Bungie Publishing Team is looking for a Communications Associate; to be based in the Netherlands; to assist in the execution of innovative communications campaigns for Destiny 2 across our international markets.
In this role, you will partner closely with our Senior Communications Manager for EMEA & LATAM, the Senior Communications Manager for APAC, and the wider Communications and International Marketing teams to help coordinate and execute on campaigns that support commercial objectives for the business, deliver impactful editorial media coverage in traditional and new media channels, and support fostering relationships and partnerships with content creators and influential ambassadors to generate high-engagement activations.
The ideal candidate is a flexible, motivated self-starter who can adapt quickly to changing factors in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while staying highly organized, focused on the shared team objectives, and working proactively and independently.
This role reports to the Senior Communications Manager, EMEA + LATAM.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- In close collaboration with the International Senior Communication Managers and Bungie Publishing team, assist with the development and execution of creative and strategic communications for a live service game that is seamlessly integrated into the broader marketing campaign and sets a gold standard for the industry.
- Work with internal PR and Communications Managers to create Communication briefings for agencies and other partners.
- Manage workback schedules and deliverables with Senior Communication Managers, Bungie Publishing team and International PR/Communications agencies to ensure successful execution of plans
- Support International Senior Communication Managers with the management of PR/Communications budgets and tracking
- Support the development and execution of regional-specific ideas and initiatives to complement the existing global strike plan.
- Support relationships with internal stakeholders, 1st Party partners and agencies
- Work with International agencies to compile, maintain, and deliver press coverage reports and regularly prepare detailed measurement of campaign ROI.
- Compose accurate, well-written press materials.
- Co-ordinate press kit deliverables to agencies and partners
- Manage merchandise co-ordination and budgets for all International agencies requirements
- Support and track creative asset requests and approvals via Publishing Creative Services team to ensure timely delivery for required activations
- Help coordinate Communication (PR) efforts between different departments within Bungie and the International team.
- Engage with external agencies to assist in executing successful campaigns for communications support and analytics tools.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the broader media landscape, including social media platforms, industry influencers, audience insights, and community pain points across key priority markets to add input into activity planning.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Two (2) years of PR/Communications or equivalent experience in gaming, technology, or entertainment companies.
- Basic familiarity with Destiny 2.
- Strategic thinker and a modern communicator with a media or content creator background.
- Strong team player and willingness to integrate multiple department and stakeholder views into effective product-Communication strategy and achievable executions.
- Excellent and concise communicator in presentation, verbal, and written copy, with the ability to transform complex principles into consumer-friendly messages on deadline.
- Consistently delivers high-quality work and completes independent projects with light supervision.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, schedule and plan across several ongoing projects.
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Experience working in a similar capacity on a live service game or product.
- Experience working with press outlets and content creators, including relationship building, story pitching, and similar skills.
- Ability to quantify results with sophisticated data analysis and metrics.
- Experience finding proactive and creative solutions to unplanned challenges and changing objectives.
