The brand marketing team is comprised of experienced, award winning marketing professionals who are passionate about these games and work together to create innovative campaigns for 2K’s latest games.
Role Purpose:
2K is looking for an experienced Brand Manager who has proven ability in marketing physical and digital titles within the gaming industry. Under the direction of a Snr. International Brand Manager, the Brand Manager will help develop the International Marketing strategy for given titles and take point in communicating that strategy to territory marketing teams. You will also be responsible for delivering timely assets, information and materials to teams throughout the business enabling a successful release of each title from pre to post launch.
Responsibilities:
- To work with and influence Global brand teams throughout the product marketing cycle to ensure that product naming, positioning, strategy, creative theme and execution are optimised for international territories
- Build out or localise creative solutions for multiple areas of the 2K business, packaging, advertising creative and media, trailers, social media, events, web and retail
- To accurately position relevant products in the marketplace, identifying key targets and providing relevant reports, research and analysis (competitor analyses, risk analyses etc)
- Build exceptional relationships and work effectively with our international territories, external licensors, agencies, and development partners as well as work collaboratively with cross functional teams to develop and implement strategic global marketing plans based on key consumer insights that will inform the marketing plans
- Maintain deliverable dates and be accountable for timely delivery for international marketing needs
- Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure that all territory marketing plans are approved and communicated to the relevant teams well before launch. Then ensure that the International territory marketing teams are following their approved marketing plans
- Work closely with the Social media/Community team to maximise international community engagement via 2K digital channels such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter etc.
- Conduct post-launch sales reviews and suggest re-promotion strategies to ensure products reach or exceed targets
- Monitor and forecast performance and contribute to planning and budgeting
Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:
You will love bringing consumer insights to life across the international markets with creative programs that delight our fans. You will enjoy working across all the marketing disciplines and development teams and orchestrating executional excellence.
- International (European) experience with AAA or Sports games
- Licensing experience would be preferred
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in recording and reporting
- Budget management experience
- Organisational ability
- Proven track record in running effective marketing campaigns
- Fluent in English, in both oral and written communication. Additional European languages an advantage.
- Creativity and passion for games marketing
- Negotiating and influencing skills
- IT Literacy
