Studio director - New Games

Our Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual and mid-core experts. Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.

Our Core games team is divided into Publishing, Partnership and Studios teams. With over seven billion downloads worldwide and a portfolio of more than 10 resilient hybrid games generating more than $20m per year, we are the largest and most successful hybrid publisher in the world.

As a Core Studio Director, you will work on developing new, original gameplays with your team of game developers and game artists.

Role

• Build, lead and manage the studio (team of gameplay developers and game artists) with the support of a central team
• Manage the whole game creation process, from ideation to the full launch of the game (development, art, marketing, game design) to make the next hit game with Voodoo
• Work closely with Voodoo's publishing team, and contribute to defining the product strategy
• Manage the studio’s budget
• Inspire and motivate the teams working on the games, and maintain enthusiasm for the project
• Onboard and coach your creative team so they can reach their goals
• Optimize continuously game creation process
• Monitor and improve game metrics

Profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong analytical skills
• Creative mindset
• At least 8 years of experience in the mobile gaming industry
• At least 4 years of experience as a Lead/Manager
• Experience in various fields of mobile gaming is a plus (e.g. Hyper-casual + Casual or Midcore games)
• Game designer, Producer or Publishing manager experience is a plus
