Internal Content Coordinator

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the Internal Content Coordinator will work with the highly talented team at FuturLab to create authentic, engaging content about the studio and FuturLab brand. Working closely with the marketing, development, and leadership teams, as well as external agencies, you will ensure that our people, initiatives and news are communicated effectively across our internal and external communication channels.

Responsibilities

• Working with key internal stakeholders, create a content strategy of engaging stories that promote FuturLab as a great place to work, develop and thrive, ensuring communications align with the broader marketing strategy.
• Help to represent the studio internally and externally at events, PR opportunities and trade shows.
• Working with external PR & relevant internal teams, help coordinate speaking opportunities at industry events.
• Help build and maintain our internal communications strategy, defining the channels and platforms to support regular and effective employee communication.
• Help organise and run internal events, virtually and face to face, such as our internal game jams.
• Frequent market analysis to ensure we’re competitive on a brand and recruitment level with other UK studios.
• Help coordinate and create communications assets, including press releases, FAQs and messaging documents.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in corporate brand marketing, PR, or communications, in or outside of games.
• Excellent writing and editorial skills.
• Demonstrable experience working on high-quality mixed media content such as press releases, FAQs, messaging documents, streams, and on-camera interviews.
• Confident communicator and presenter.
• Experience building relationships and working effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels.
• A passion for video games; industry knowledge is a bonus but not essential.
• Ability to travel when required.
