What We Need
Are you a technical and creative enthusiast with a desire to help teams communicate more effectively? As an Internal Communications Specialist, you’ll work on various projects and initiatives and think strategically. Working closely with producers, project/program/product managers, marketing, operations, and executive leadership to capture complex concepts and turn them into material that is engaging, thorough, and easy to digest and understand. You could work on team wide communications, process documentation, executive briefings, or project status reports on any given day.

What You Will Do
- Ensure standard operating processes and procedures are clearly defined and documented across projects.
- Communicate complex information clearly, concisely, accurately, and without relying on jargon or obscure terms.
- Write conceptual overviews and procedures, and update executive presentations.
- Expand the organisation’s reach by crafting monthly communications, decks, templates, surveys, roadshows, logos, and overall branding.
- Create narratives for senior staff to present to and address global partners.
- Amplify our reporting documents and help improve our user experiences.
- Collaborate with partners on communications on behalf of the team.
What Will Make You a Great Fit
We are looking for an experienced technical and creative writer who enjoys ambiguity and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ownership of your field, desire for continuous improvement, and being proactive is a must. The successful candidate will enjoy exploring details, mediating discrepancies, and encouraging positive communication while never losing sight of the overall strategy and goals of the organisation.
Minimum qualifications:
- Relevant communications experience with a consumer brand, agency, development studio, or publishing organisation.
- Experience working with designers and copywriters, product development, and executive leadership teams.
- Creative and technical writer background.
- Graphic design and UX experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the full range of media, including digital screens (desktop and mobile), display ads, emails, video scripts, social, print, promotional offers, etc.
- Interest in new technology products.
- Ability to work within fast-paced and changing environments.
- Excellent written English skills.
- Expertise with Photoshop/Illustrator, Jira/Confluence, Microsoft Office, and the Google Suite.
- Gaming industry knowledge.
- Technically not a "skill", but you are comfortable with working hours 10am-6.30pm enabling greater connection with our US HQ
