About the engineering team:

At Strivr, our engineering teams develop immersive experience software and a cloud-based software platform that powers the creation, management, and experience of immersive learning with a unique level of insights and predictive analytics. The platform is scalable, secure, and compliant which is critical to making our customers and users successful on our platform. The engineering team is distributed and located in offices in Seattle and Palo Alto. About the role:

Strivr is looking for software engineering interns to build products that enable our customers to train people to perform at their best. Strivr has a huge array of technology needed to achieve this including Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, data science and analytics, mobile and desktop applications, and cloud services. Strivr delivers an end to end solution that includes a software platform, services for strategy, curriculum and performance analysis, content and hardware.

We are looking for passionate engineering interns who are interested in developing intuitive and easy to use desktop applications for content creation, web based data visualizations and interfaces, VR software, cloud services, and real time and scalable data processing pipelines. VR skills are not needed for many of our roles. We are looking for interns who are curious, want to be entrusted with real responsibility, and are eager to have the opportunity to write code that ships. As a member of the engineering team, you will learn about delivering real-world products in a fast-paced startup.

Your responsibilities:

• Work directly with, and be mentored by, the engineers who are building our next generation products.
• Write code that ships and has an impact on customers and future development.
• Have an opportunity to work on challenging problems in VR, in the cloud, or on one of our client platforms (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android).

Your skills:

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
• Solid problem solving and programming skills
• Good understanding of at least one programming language such as C#, Java, Python, or C++
• Familiarity with some of these technologies is preferred: React, Android, Linux, .Net Core, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform
• Strong desire to learn and contribute over a 10-12 week period
