Intern Service Programmer (Java) (f/m/d)

Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and passionate Intern Programmer (Java) (f/m/d) that is looking to expand their knowledge and apply their skills in a professional setting. We are looking for someone with a background in development, specifically with skills in Java. This person will work closely to assist the team in general Java tasks as well as tasks relating to our various projects. Their contributions will ultimately support many Ubisoft productions.
Note: This position is located in Germany and is not remote from other countries. Please check if you are eligible to work in Germany before applying.
Your Impact
- You assist the team with development tasks and support our online services used throughout the company
- You cooperate with project management to ensure on-time high quality delivery
- You thoroughly document your work in order to transfer knowledge to your team members
- You are able to follow a development plan broken down into small, clear tasks
Qualifications
- Experience as a software engineer (Java)
- Knowledge of Agile and Continuous Delivery practices
- You are familiar with analyzing and debugging
- You are able to work in an agile, fluent English speaking team
- You are eligible to work in the European Union
Bonus Level
- Knowledge of Restful Web Services (both consuming and producing sides)
- Micro Service Architecture experience
- Experience with DevOps culture
- Experience with AWS or other cloud providers
- Experience with Linux
