This role is part of EA’s dynamic People Experience (PE) organization, where analytics is a key focus area for transforming the function. You get excited about using insights from data to help drive business decisions. From building complex models to predict attrition, to building one stop data visualization for key business leaders, you will be the engine supplying the analytical power to help EA win in a hyper-competitive talent marketplace.
Qualifications
- Candidate for a bachelor’s degree, preferably in or related to Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science or related quantitative field such as Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Inquisitive and research driven. Not afraid to speak out and ask questions.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex quantitative data.
- Experience analyzing, validating, and delivering on analytical projects; with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience with data ETL, data modeling, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Dedicated and motivated with a strong, positive attitude.
- Strong Communicator – both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or related work experience.
- Experience in technology focusing on HR Data or Analytics (e.g., Visier, Workday, Alteryx, Tableau, Hyperion, R, Python etc.)
- Familiarity with HR, Workforce Planning, Statistics, or Financial Planning.
- Experience analyzing, validating, and delivering on analytical projects; with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex quantitative data into easy to understand and actionable recommendations that will resonate with business leaders.
Key Responsibilities, aka What does a People Analyst Intern do?
- Advance our thinking around a pilot program to better understand EA’s people/workforce, specifically:
- Design
- Logistics
- Research Methodology
- Data Sources
- Analysis
- Insights Sharing
- Action Planning/Recommendations
- Continuous Improvement Checks
- Work in partnership with a Mentor and other members of the People Analytics team to design and develop an insights project based on the pilot program above, analyzing the data for key insights, culminating in a presentation to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Partner with the People Analytics team to deliver on other key analytical projects.
