KIXEYE is currently seeking an 3D Artist with a broad range of 3D skills and experience, including environments, props, vehicles, and architecture. As a member of the team, the 3D Artist is expected to have excellent artistic, technical, and communication skills. The ideal candidate has a passion for game art, works well in a team environment, and requires minimal supervision to perform their tasks.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge using Maya/3DS Max and Photoshop
  • 3D modeling hard surface & organic, sculpting, basic animation, basic rigging, UV-mapping and PBR texturing.
    ● Experience with software such as ZBrush, 3DCoat, and Substance Painter
  • Experience with game engine softwares such as Unity or Unreal.
  • Able to interpret and act on verbal or visual direction
  • Experience modeling and texturing environments, props, and characters
  • English communication skills
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change
  • Ability to work within branding guidelines
  • Must be a fast learner, an independent problem solver, and detailed oriented

Responsibilities:

  • Manage art quality and pipeline requirements
  • Manage content for implementation
  • Create high poly sculpts and low poly in-game assets based on art direction and pre-established art styles
  • UV, Texture, Rig, weight, and animate 3D Assets.

Nice to Have:

  • Strong traditional art and digital painting skills
  • Strong aptitude for continuous learning.
  • Experience with sprite creation, and UI creation.

Location: Vietnam; Remote Work

Reports to: Art Leads and Art Director
