Interaction Designer

Magic Leap, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated interaction designer to help create a next-generation user experience system. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience with interaction design and be excited to solve next-generation design problems beyond existing computing paradigms.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and execute innovative UI and UX concepts in a fast-paced environment while always keeping user needs at the forefront

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional and creative experience
• Strong problem-solving skills; this job is much more than just pretty-making
• Interest in technology and curiosity around the future of computing and experience platforms
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player capable of working well with others and leveraging other people’s skills and strengths to deliver a stellar product
• Systematic thinking and a desire to make/prototype solutions in order to fail fast and learn quickly
• Ability to combine analytical problem solving with refined graphic design skills
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) experience is a must
• Comfort and experience working with development teams is a plus
• Knowledge of the Unity game engine is a plus

Education:

• BA/BS in Graphic Design or related subject
