The Role @ Sumo Group:
The Production Manager will coordinate the production of all marketing and comms creative content, across all internal functions and external resource, to ensure streamlined, timely and well managed delivery.
Such content will include (but not limited to), web pages, web creative copy & assets, digital and print advertising, photography, branded collateral, corporate reporting assets and video editing.
Please note, this role will be based at our Sheffield studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cross functioning between the key stakeholders and creative team, taking briefs from the stakeholders and liaising with the creative team ensuring that the production of content is effective and completed on a scheduled timeline. (Costings, Budgets, Profitability etc.)
- Have ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all creative content work is delivered on time and in line with the schedule.
- Produce all critical paths, coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure critical paths are distributed to all parties, updated where necessary and adhered to.
- Monitor processes and suggest changes to improve effective work flow as required.
- Manage the work flow of all production, ensuring all parties deliver against the critical path.
- Ensuring all amends are actioned across all artwork.
- Work with providers and the team to ensure all work has been requested and invoiced for correctly.
- Create and sustain long lasting relationships with suppliers including freelancers, directors, production houses, animation, 3D resources and photographers.
- Ensure all content assets are effectively managed and easily accessible.
- Be an integral part of the project team introducing a digital asset management system, ensuring all company needs are met in this area.
Key Requirements
- Able to work well under scheduled timelines, whilst juggling multiple projects accordingly.
- Experience in a Producer or Project Management role within an integrated creative agency or marketing team.
- Experience of a DAM (digital asset management) system is advantageous.
- Ideally experience within the games industry or a strong interest in gaming.
- Able to juggle multiple projects against a set deadline.
- Ability to develop a wide range of effective relationships and influence others.
- Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Can communicate effectively with various suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
