THE ROLE
The Training Team at The VOID is responsible for preparing all employees for success in their positions and we are a one-stop-shop.
- We analyze the training needs of VOID employees and evaluate those needs based on the overalls needs of the company.
- We design and develop the training content working with Subject Matter Experts in the company.
- We are responsible for implementing and delivering the training once it has been completed.
- We evaluate the training and begin the cycle again.
We are a scrappy team who works closely with Operation, Technology, Research & Development, and People & Culture in order to ensure the highest quality training is delivered to our workforce. In order to be successful in this position, you will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have an interest in gaining both training and instructional design experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work with the Instructional Design Manager to determine the best strategies for training design, development, and delivery solutions
- Create, maintain, and enhance training curriculum and content
- Design, develop, and deploy technology-based and in-person training
- Partner with internal and external subject matter experts as appropriate
- Stay current on all instructional design theory and strategies
- Use and stay current on all appropriate tools for developing technology-based training courseware/software
- Meet deliverables on time
- Deliver the training content to its target audience
EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- 3-5 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying training
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience delivering training material
- Flexible with changing timelines and product scope
- Some domestic and international travel will be required (~10%)
- Prior experience in Operations, Entertainment, or Hospitality strongly preferred
