Summary:
Joining the School Sales team, the Inside Sales team is focused on establishing new partnerships with schools, districts, and other education entities across the country. The Inside Sales Account Executive is responsible for the entire sales cycle from lead to close.
Responsibilities:
- Hit daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity goals as set by management
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting, including cold calls and emails
- Communicate and build relationships with district and school decision-makers while building the value of My Math Academy and My Reading Academy to close business.
- Achieve personal sales targets as described in the commission plan
- Create and execute a sales business plan for your territory
- Participate in customer success implementation process with new partners
- Working with sales management, business development team, marketing team, product team, and customer success strategically to build Age of Learning’s presence in the school’s market
- Document all selling activities and opportunities in Salesforce and HubSpot and participate in regular pipeline reviews
- Negotiate and manage proposals to ensure profitable and scalable sales activity
- Demonstrate knowledge of each mastery product, develop an ability to inform, present, and converse fluently and comfortably with all customer levels
- Attend national, regional, and state education conferences to help build relationships with stakeholders and create opportunities
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years' experience as an Account Executive selling to schools and districts while exceeding goals
- Experience working with Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM Software
- Must be based in North Carolina or Virginia
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in the EdTech, Software Sales and/or K-12 space
- Have a thorough understanding of the educational marketspace
The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $60,000 USD to $65,000 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
