Infrastructure Pipeline Engineer

At Blur Studio we recognize the merging of storytelling with technology is the key to our success. We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Infrastructure Pipeline Engineer to collaborate on a number of Pipeline initiatives for many exciting projects. This is a full-time position focused on integrating new custom tools and third-party applications into the existing pipeline, and promoting software development best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate internal tools with 3rd party applications
- Collaborate with the Systems Department to manage tool deployment to Windows and Unix systems
- Develop and support workflows for working remotely and onsite
- Produce clean and reusable code including documentation and testing
- Maintain and improve existing codebase
- Work with our artists and the Pipeline Supervisor to determine needs and priorities
Requirements:
- Python programming skills are a must (Python 3x preferred)
- Good understanding of computer animation pipeline
- Experience developing tools and/or plugins for at least one content creation development software (Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal preferred)
- Experience with code management and versioning (Git or Perforce)
- Some experience with PyQt/PySide
Pluses:

- Autodesk ShotGrid management and API
This role can either be performed either onsite or remotely.
Rate will be based on experience level.
Compensation: $90,000-$140,000/yr
