Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Overview

ZeniMax Online Studios (ZOS) is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to work in a team environment that will assist with building, automating and monitoring the infrastructure platform. The successful candidate will have a broad range of experience working and collaborating with application owners, infrastructure leaders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide infrastructure automation analysis and design at all levels
• Implement, document, integrate & troubleshoot the platform
• Building automation workflows for network, server and application teams using low code building blocks
• Build and maintain internal lab platforms for development and testing
• Create knowledge base articles, including task-oriented instructions, training guides & troubleshooting instructions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience
• B.S. (or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Scripting for operating systems – Linux and Windows (Bash and Powershell scripting)
• Experience with automation using Terraform and Ansible
• Experience building integrations with multiple APIs
• Understanding of programming/procedural logic
• Familiar with Linux system administration
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Able to write clear and concise technical documentation
• Capable of analyzing a system to determine the process at work and logically determine where it breaks down
• Able to become familiar with new environments quickly
• Demonstrate an understanding of infrastructure technologies such as databases, firewalls, network routing and switching, logging solutions etc.
• Self-motivated with a strong team attitude
