Information Security Lead

Responsibilities

Information Security Lead plays a key role in developing and implementing infosec frameworks and standards at Metacore to strengthen our cybersecurity from multiple fronts. In practice, this means (at least) the following:

• Information Security Lead plays a key role in developing and implementing infosec frameworks and standards at Metacore to strengthen our cybersecurity from multiple fronts. In practice, this means (at least) the following:
• Be the owner of information security policies, practises, tooling and processes at Metacore
• Take the lead in implementing company wide, information security best practices, and work together with IT, infrastructure and development teams to improve them further
• Manage and operate security tooling and the services related to them
• Oversee infosec related contractors and how we use their expertise

Requirements

Every role is eventually shaped to match our unique passions, backgrounds and strengths. Here are some of the key skills and experience you should already have when joining Metacore as a Information Security Lead:

• Versatile experience in information security which enables you to own, lead and develop our infosec tooling from the get go
• A deep understanding of the following areas, which makes you both an expert and an advocate of building information security capabilities:
  • Incident response processes and practises
  • IT security frameworks and standards, such as CIS, from theory to practise
  • Public cloud services (AWS or similar)
  • SaaS office platforms (Google Workspace or similar)
• Team player with can do attitude who can work together together with different domains and guide them on infosec related matters
• Ability to implement new ways of working and advocate cybersecurity for multiple stakeholders
