Information Security Engineer (Corporate Security)

Wargaming is looking to hire an Information Security Engineer.
Corporate Security is a global, geographically distributed team of information security engineers who solve complex technical and analytical challenges of protecting corporate data on a daily basis. Belonging to the Information Security group within the Global IT department, we interact with the employees of all company offices, regardless of position, areas of activities, and time zones. Working on our team, you will come across various types of technologies and solutions, systems and applications, protocols and processes—put simply, everything that can be vulnerable or contain a threat. If you are not afraid of constant challenges and are ready to search for complex and unorthodox solutions to them, and if the methods and means of achieving goals are limited only by your imagination, then we will be happy to have you on our team.
What will you do?
- Analyze the threats and risks of information security
- Cooperate with system administrators on strengthening the security of On-Prem and SaaS solutions
- Maintain and develop processes for managing information security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Investigate incidents, eliminate vulnerabilities, and develop protective measures
- Maintain corporate information security policies and provide advice to employees
What are we looking for?
- At least 2 years of experience in IT or information security
- Understanding of information security threats and vulnerabilities, and knowledge of the methods and means to eliminate them
- Experience in developing and implementing information security processes
- Understanding of the network architecture and protocols
- Understanding of the architecture implemented in various operating systems and DBMSs
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, VBScript)
- Understanding of query languages (LDAP, SQL)
- Understanding of the operation principles for systems, and knowledge of the means of detecting and preventing threats (SIEM systems, FW, WAF, scanners, IDS/IPS)
- Understanding of the operation principles within virtualizing and containerizing systems
- Understanding of the operation principles within SaaS/PaaS/IaaS solutions
- Critical thinking and a disposition toward systematization and analysis
- Intermediate level of written English
