Influencer Relations Manager

505 Games is searching for a highly motivated, results-oriented and analytical Influencer Relations Manager to join its Global Communications Team. A key role that elevates 505 Games’ large and diverse portfolio of award-winning games spanning across multiple gaming platforms, markets and business models. This passionate gaming professional will support the overall function of communications through building and leveraging relationships with content creators on Twitch, YouTube, Mixer and other emerging channels. This exciting position will help contribute to the successful launch of console, mobile and PC games both premium and free-to-play and build out both existing and new capabilities for a growing publisher.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Paid Media Manager, PR Manager and Director of Communications to develop strategic campaigns that leverage both paid and earned content creators
• Develop programs with the Global Brand Marketing and Consumer Marketing teams and define strategically appropriate tactics in support of large programs including virtual events, physical events, marketing promotions and more
• Guide European marketing teams in best practices, developing and managing relationships and executing campaigns
• Establish personal relationships within the content creator community – know the right people and the right pitch to attract their participation to raise awareness and generate interest and purchase intent for our products
• Coordinate with Community Managers to operate Twitch and Mixer streams, create YouTube content, operate tournaments and more
• Communicate industry trends, opportunities and potential issues to the wider communications team while always sharing and communicating with the European marketing teams
• Participate in brainstorms and planning sessions related to PR, marketing and event activations
• Develop comprehensive reporting to articulate influencer campaign impact, with analysis of impact
• Build and manage 505 Influencer Partner Program, working cross-functionally with brand, community, web and our developers to provide a package of benefits that will entice top creators to join
• Domestic and international travel required.

Expertise Desired:

• Strong understanding of and interest in gaming/eSports trends and social influencer programs
• Confident communicator with an ability to develop and foster relationships with relevant influencers on Twitch, YouTube, Mixer, Facebook, etc.
• Experience working with influencers to promote both new and established games, F2P and premium games across mobile, PC and console
• Established contacts with MCNs and influencer management companies
• Flexible, motivated self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented
• Must leverage both critical thinking and creativity
• Personal Twitch/Mixer stream or YouTube channel a plus

Experience Desired:

• 3+ years experience working with content creators
• 4+ years experience working in a video game Communications and/or Community role
• Must have experience in creating and executing influencer programs
• Understanding of global corporate operations and studio relations
• Basic knowledge of creating Twitch and YouTube content
• Event experience (PAX, RTX, etc.), including booth planning, managing appointments and live streams a plus
• Bachelor’s degree with a Marketing or Communications focus
