Influencer Relations Manager, China Region - UK Based

The Influencer Relations Manager is an exciting new role within an established Influencer team supporting all Total War titles. As part of this fast-paced team, you will drive the success of our celebrated content creator program in the China region, tailoring our tools, assets, and opportunities to improve our accessibility, engagement, and relationships.
This role is based at our studio based in Horsham, West Sussex.
This role offers a great deal of complexity, creativity, and freedom to a candidate with a deep understanding of the games industry and the role of influencers within it. The ideal candidate will thrive while supporting the success of others, using a keen mix of creative and strategic thinking to build, support, and grow the Total War army.
Key Responsibilities
As the Influencer Relations Manager, you will support all influencer activity while acting as a dedicated conduit between the studio and influencers in the China region. As an advocate for their needs, you will work to improve their experience and identifying new ways to add value for their channels. You will identify and deploy the tools we need to replicate our Content Creator program in a way that is more accessible in the China region, while driving improvements and innovations over time.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure we are actively pursuing improvements in how we engage with creators in the China region.
- Grow and nurture the Total War talent pool in the China region, investing strategically to maintain a balanced, stable, and successful community of creators.
- Plan and coordinate brand-wide engagement strategies rallying Total War content creators in support of our objectives.
- Draw from a deep understanding of our titles and the wider strategy genre, using your passion for games to inform your work and improve our results.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
Essential
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English language
- Experience in influencer and/or community management, content creation, or esports
- Deep understanding of the Total War series and the strategy genre at large
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to self-manage
- Willingness and availability to travel
Desirable- Education or experience in a relevant field such as PR or community
- A natural connector, bringing people together to make things happen
- Experience in client or stakeholder management
- Strategic and creative thinking
