Indie Publishing Marketing Manager

Job Summary:
Square Enix Collective is looking for a creative minded marketer to join their team based in London. The role will involve close collaboration with internal and external marketing, comms, production, and development teams. The role requires experience in marketing campaign planning and execution as well as production and delivery of marketing assets.The candidate is required to influence and support the game assets in a fast pacing and ever-changing development and release cycle across all titles in the Square Enix Collective portfolio, such as PowerWash Simulator and the upcoming Little Goody Two Shoes.
Requirements
Key Deliverables:
- Build effective relationships with our external indie development studios and international Square Enix teams.
- Develop short and long-term strategic marketing plans; and deliver successful execution against those plans to ensure successful releases and post-launch support.
- Collaborate with the Square Enix Collective Team. Support production and submission teams, social/community and influencer activities across multiple titles and priorities.
- Understand the complexities of developing assets and encouraging the success of those assets through marketing their unique features within a defined budget.
- Comfortable using their creative thinking to resolve practical and project related challenges as they are enriching marketing campaigns.
- Motivated by deadlines and achievement and energised by moving projects forward towards conclusion

Knowledge & Experience:
Essential:
- Direct brand and/or marketing experience within the video games industry specifically with creating and marketing of assets.
- Understanding of the complexities of marketing videogames to different global markets.
- Experience in delivering innovative above-the-line promotional activities, with an active and evolving knowledge of promotional opportunities, technologies, and trends.
- Project management experience able to devise and communicate plans and execute against them, delivering on time and to budget.
- Budget projection and management able to manage projects to budget
Desirable:
- Experience with indie video game development.

- Able to accurately and clearly, create and manage briefs, plans, reports, budgets, and schedules.
