Implementation Project Manager (Learning Experience Platform)

Job Description
As part of the Knowledge management services team, you will be the project manager in charge of the selection and implementation of our future learning management system.
Mission
The main responsibilities and routine tasks of the IT Functional Project Manager are to:
- Consolidate and challenge the needs of stakeholders (HR & end users) to define project objectives, KPIs & scope
- Coordinate and lead the vendors selection process (depending on your arrival date: assessment or proof of concept phase) in cooperation with our IT partners on the project
- Collaborate with the product owner and IT PM of our current LMS in identifying and planning long and short term project priorities, and requirements;
- Contribute in the elaboration of budget forecasts for the learning experience platform;
- Track project KPI’s, escalate variances as necessary and elicits standard project management deliverables as needed (e.g. schedule, budget, RACI, process maps, risk registers);
- Be responsible for management of project activities to meet project scope, budget and schedule success criteria;
- Define project communication plans and execute accordingly (e.g. roadmap workshops, steering committees, release and sprint reports, project status reports);
- Partner with internal / external partners to deliver the appropriate documentation in order to select the best solutions for Ubisoft needs (RFP, POC, etc).
- Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met and to oversee tool implementation (Business analysts, developers, security and architecture product owners, UX designer, Content Strategist).
- Carry out all other related tasks.
Training
- Project Management training/certification (i.e. PMP, CSM, Prince2) is preferred;
- University Degree in Computer Information Systems, or Information science is a plus.
Relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role
- 3+ years of LMS (preferably) or HRIS implementation project management experience
Qualifications
Skills
- HR Information Systems implementation (especially Learning Management System) experience
- Functional learning management knowledge is considered as a bonus
- Gathering and developing functional requirements as well as process development experience required
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment while maintaining a sense of perspective.
- Flexibility, curiosity, enthusiasm, passion.
- Very strong customer/partner orientation
- Possess excellent planning and organization skills
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills essential
- Excellent communication skills, with significant experience working across complex organizational structures
- Ability to explain technical topics/solutions in simple language
- Demonstrated vendor and budget management experience
Knowledge
- Understanding of waterfall project management practices
- Solid, practical knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban) and Agile practices (cross functional team dynamics, product and sprint backlogs, continuous integration, iterative and incremental development, scrum events, self-organizing teams)
- Basic understanding of information technology foundations (e.g. software development, software automation, , application architecture, hardware/infrastructure, authentication/authorization)
- Solid knowledge of common project management and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Office, MS Project, Jira)
- Demonstrated understanding of budgeting, scheduling and change management processes within Agile contexts
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Fluent in French is a plus
