IT support technician

We are a critically acclaimed Swedish game development studio with about 180 experienced and skilled employees. We are most well-known for developing the Warhammer: Vermintide franchise, but have also helped develop a number of AAA titles and we recently launched the highly anticipated game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.

The role

We are looking for an experienced IT technician to be the 1st line of support, within our IT team. You would be the first point of contact to other sharks for any kind of software and/or hardware related issues they might encounter. Together with Office and HR team and hiring manager, you would be responsible for preparing the equipment when on-boarding new colleagues, but you would support off-boarding process as well, by making sure the right equipment is returned. You would collaborate closely with the rest of the IT team to improve processes that are already in place and make them smoother.

What you'll do

• Be the first point of contact for all people in the company
• Help with on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, in terms of preparing the right equipment, accounts and licenses
• Help colleagues with hardware and software related issues and troubleshooting
• Maintaining all conference/meeting rooms in the office
• Collaborating together with the rest of the IT team to improve team's processes

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in IT technical support, help desk work
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Google workspace
• Some knowledge on how to use any kind of a ticketing system (we use Jira)
• Excellent communication skills and being service-minded
• Excellent spoken and written English and Swedish

Bonus qualifications

• Knowing how to troubleshoot hardware
• Experience with Windows servers and Cloud knowledge
• Knowledge about networking
• Passionate about games and being a part of the gaming industry
