We are looking for a highly motivated Junior IT Support Technician to join the Teravision Games family.
The IT Support Technician will report directly to the Technical Director, and will be responsible for delivering on-site and remote support for the hardware and software needs of Teravision Games' employees.
Responsibilities :
- Offer support both remotely and on-site to end users on hardware (workstations) and standard software (Windows OS, Linux OS, Unreal Engine).
- Support in managing the local infrastructure (servers and network) when required.
- Ensure the use of best practices for applications and workstations.
- Assist in the continued improvement of the local IT environment.
- Configuration and preparation of new employees’ workspaces.
- Ensure proper meeting room configurations.
- Manage hardware.
- Maintain asset inventory.
- Ensure follow-up on issues and requests.
- Update knowledge base with newly diagnosed/solved problems.
- Manage backups (local and cloud).
Requirements :
- Experience in tech support or equivalent experience in an IT support role.
- Expertise in PC and laptop support.
- Excellent knowledge of servers administration.
- Good knowledge of mobile support.
- Good knowledge of networking and cabling.
- English level-- Reading and W ritten : High / Listening and Speaking: Medium
- Knowledge in various remote working platforms (Parsec, Anydesk, etc).
- Linux knowledge.
- Knowledge of multimedia equipment.
- Scripting ability (batch files, VBScript, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of the Microsoft server platforms.
- Networks and basic firewall knowledge.
