IT Technician (Tier 1 Helpdesk Support)

Location: Work from our brand-new Studio in Cambridge, UK.

Level: Junior and above.

About us: Ninja Theory is a five-time Bafta award winning games company based in Cambridge, UK and part of Xbox Game Studios. Our Mission is: To Craft Life-changing Art with Game-changing Tech and we are building the team that will help us fulfil that promise.

Your Role: You'll work within our existing IT Team, reporting in to the IT Infrastructure Manager, helping to support our 150 staff who are currently split between working from home and working from our brand-new studio.

Your primary focus initially will be the setup, installation and deployment of both hardware upgrades for existing staff, and new hardware for new hires. You will also play a critical role providing customer focussed first line support in a Windows environment - answering helpdesk tickets, dealing with user queries and providing in house and remote support.

You will also get involved in project work and will gain exposure to a vast range of cutting-edge technology - from networking and storage equipment, to firewalls, devkits and audio-visual equipment.

In time, there may be an opportunity to specialise in one of these areas and become the subject matter expert for the team.

Requirements

Your Skill: You’ll use your knowledge and skills to provide our development teams with the tools they need to craft life changing art and game changing tech. You will have:

• Knowledge of PC hardware - components, assembly, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Windows 10 - installation, configuration, and support.
• Experience with hardware and software fault diagnosis & troubleshooting.
• A customer service focused attitude, with a commitment to quality.

Your Experience: As well as the above skills, you'll also have:

• Fantastic attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills
