Your Mission
As an IT Technician Lead, you will work within our small but agile team that services all our development, administrative, and operational staff. As a member of the IT team, you will also be responsible for running and maintaining local computing systems and services, as well as any internal tools utilised by Sledgehammer Games; (Jira, Confluence, Office365, etc.). This role will not only handle and assign helpdesk tickets, but be encouraged to help us exceed client expectations, map and deliver critical timelines, help set standards, and handle assets. Our teams and game state changes rapidly so the ideal candidate would have the ability to multi-task and prioritise to be successful.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for working and tracking cases from beginning through resolution
- Performs installations, adds, moves, and changes for PCs, monitors, printers, and related peripherals
- Installs gaming PC hardware including the replacing of GPU, RAM, CPU and other internal components
- Performs archive restores, handles user and computer accounts in AD, patch management, runs VPN accounts, Aspera requests, password resets, Alloy Software Asset Management, and all other duties as assigned
- Installs, configures, and handles software and software licenses
- Ensures security and privacy software and tools are functioning properly
- Supports and assists the local operations team in desk setups
- Supports on-site and remote users around the world
- Participates in 24/7 IT coverage for the critical business environment and applications as needed
- Partners with IT management and security team to ensure that all systems adhere to security policies and any compliance requirements
- Works with IT leadership to identify computer/hardware shortages and work with leadership to place orders
- Establishes/maintains cross studio communication with other IT Technicians.
- Heads up small projects and contractors to support other Activision studios
Player Profile
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure at times
- 3+ years IT experience in a support, and/or project-based environment
- Friendly, customer focused and top-level support a must
- “Can do” demeanour
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- General understanding of network protocols (LAN/WAN, DNS & DHCP)
- Familiarity with hypervisor / virtualisation technology
- Strong and validated documentation skills
- Experienced in support & solving problems with Windows & Mac OS
- Platforms including mobile devices running Apple iOS & Android OS
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Outlook Web Access and Office 365
- Ability to work without daily guidance
- Thirst to learn new technologies to support company growth
- JIRA and Confluence administration knowledge
Extra Points:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar education
- SCCM/MEMCM a plus.
- Preferred minimum 2+ years work experience in Media/Entertainment industry
