Ubisoft のホスティングサービスグループのデータセンターオペレーション チームは、世界各国の Ubisoft のデータセンターサイトのハードウェアと設備に対して、オンサイトおよびリモートで実地のサポートを提供しています。
データセンターシステム チームの IT システムアドミ二ストレーターは、運用に必要なシステムとツールの配置と保守を担当すると同時に、設備やハードウェアの配置といった重要な基盤をサポートし、我々のゲームおよび開発者向けの必要不可欠なインフラとサービスを提供する内部チームのサポートを行います。
本ポジションは、プロジェクト関連の業務が 50% と、オートメーションによるオペレーションが望ましいとされている50%に振り分けられますが、スイッチの交換や RMA と言った手動で作業にあたるサーバー/ケーブル管理も要求されます。 本ポジションは、江東区と品川区にある 2 つの データセンター と、当社の世界規模のデータセンターネットワークをサポートします。
The Data Center Operation team in the Hosting Services group of Ubisoft, provides hand-on, on-site and remote support for the hardware and facilities in Ubisoft’s Data Centers sites across the world.
The IT Systems Administrator in the Data Center Systems team is responsible to deploy and maintain the systems and tools required for operations, while assisting and critical support infrastructure, such as deployment and support of sites and hardware, supporting the internal teams providing the necessary infrastructure and services for our games and developers. The IT Systems Administrator is also expected to perform occasional manual operation in our locations in Koto and Shinagawa.
Responsibility

- 必要に応じて、営業時間中および営業時間外のオンサイト操作のサポート
- 発券および在庫管理システムで行われた作業を文書化および追跡し、ナレッジ ベース記事を作成、更新、および保守
- チームとグループの進化に貢献するべくプロセスと方法論の改善、変更の提案
- Design, deploy, monitor and maintain tools and systems to support Ubisoft’s data center operations;
- Diagnose and perform complex hardware and software troubleshooting for technical problems raised during operations;
- Coordinate with internal and external partners, vendors and manufacturers for support requests, projects, maintenance, deployments, and site creation;
- Support onsite operations during and out of business hours when required;
- Document and track work done in the ticketing and inventory management systems, build, update and maintain knowledge base articles;
- Contribute to the team and group’s evolution by proposing improvements, changes to processes and methodologies.
資格
Skills & competencies
- エンタープライズ環境におけるハードウェアのトラブルシューティング、問題解決、テクニカル サポートに関する豊富な経験
- Python、Golang、BASH、Powershell などのスクリプト言語の経験 (Go/Django の経験はプラス)
- Git などのソース管理管理と、Ansible、Puppet、Chef などの構成管理システムの経験
- サポート管理とプロジェクト管理の方法論、文書化のベスト プラクティスに関する経験
- ラック内の機器を物理的に操作する能力
- 日英 バイリンガルレベルのコミュニケーション能力 (読み書き含む)
- Strong experience with hardware troubleshooting, problem solving and technical support in an enterprise environment;
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Golang, Django, BASH and Powershell (Django experience is a plus)
- Experience with source control management such as Git and configuration management systems such as Ansible, Puppet and Chef
- Experience with support management and project management methodologies, documentation best practices;
- Experience with and ability to perform physical manipulation of datacenter equipment and components in racks;
- Bilingual communication skills (Japanese and English, read, write and speak).
