About the Role
We are currently looking for an IT support engineer to join our Singapore IT team in providing IT support to the APAC region. You have demonstrated experience in IT support on multiple operating systems, experience working cross functional support and guidance to internal stakeholders on IT best practices. You will be reporting to Regional IT Manager.
You Will:
- Familiar with providing IT support in a remote environment
- Familiar with IT ticketing systems, such as JIRA or ServiceNow
- Able to prioritize workload according to urgency and importance
- Move tickets to appropriate teams or engineers
- Label and categorize tickets
- Escalate to SMEs
- Familiar with IT Security requirements
- Required to handle heavy equipment
Solve tier 1 requests example:
- Distribution list, Assist with password resets, maintaining LDAP groups
- New user onboarding and account creation
- Conduct onboarding and offboarding, arrange hardware returns to office
- Prep for new hire onboarding and termination of employment
- Laptop imaging, laptop preparation and other equipment for shipping
- IT inventory management for APAC
- Basic AV support
You Have:
- Minimum 2 years experience of IT Support in a professional environment
- Experience with support ticket management and tracking
- Strong customer service, problem solving, and teamwork abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical knowledge of Mac OS, Windows OS, iOS and Android (ACMT preferred)
- Network fundamentals (laptop connectivity, VPN, printing and so forth)
- Familiar with supporting multi-country employees across Asia-Pacific
- Familiar with parent/subsidiary customer relationships
- Proficiency in multiple Asian languages
Estimated Duration of Assignment: 12 months
