GSN Games is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Palo Alto!
About the IT Team:

What You’ll Do:
- The IT Support Specialist provides tier 1 and 2 support for local (San Francisco and Palo Alto offices) and remote employees
- Leverage a Jira ticketing system to respond, prioritize and resolve employee requests
- Provide hardware and software support for Apple and Windows PCs
- Manage accounts on various platforms (Active Directory, JIRA, Google Apps, etc.)
- Provide AV support for video conferencing, and in some cases required to run presentations
- Setup computers and workstations, including imaging and backups
- Support the office VoIP telephone system
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software
- Longer term ongoing projects as needed
- Some off hours and weekend work will be required
- Travel to San Francisco office for support 1X per week
About You:
- 4-7 years of professional IT support experience
- Excellent problem solver with the ability to prioritize and coordinate between tasks
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and end user support
- Ability to clearly document problems, solutions and important information for the team
- Strong ability to provide remote support via email, telephone, and other communication methods
- Able to write or verbally express concise easy to follow instructions for the end user, including the ability to articulate and convey technical information to non-technical people
- Excited to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Extensive experience supporting Microsoft Office, Windows, and OS X operating systems
- Experience with administration in a Windows Server environment and knowledge of Active Directory
- Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, DNS and DHCP protocols
- Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent work experience
Bonus Points!
- Experience with Atlassian products, specifically JIRA and Confluence
- Familiarity with scripting
- Supported Dell and Apple desktops and laptops
