IT Support Professional (parttime)

CoolGames started 10 years ago as a pioneer in developing games in HTML5. Now big-tech companies such as Facebook, Snapchat and Google ask to work with us. We partner with global brands, working on IPs such as Angry Birds, Monopoly, Battleship and Sudoku.

When the app-stores were introduced ten years ago, mobile quickly became the largest games platform. Today however, millions of people play and instantly share games with friends via their social or messaging apps, such as Facebook and Snapchat. CoolGames is a front-runner in this space and has brought many successful games to messaging platforms, including Angry Birds, Battleship and Daily Sudoku, which is now the #1 sudoku game on Facebook.

Requirements

We at CoolGames are looking for an IT professional with 2-4 years of experience in IT support and administration to join our growing team. Working closely with our Head of Technology, you will ensure the delivery of efficient and satisfactory IT services within our organisation. In your role, you will be responsible for installing new hardware and software components, assisting with network administration, resolving IT support issues, and driving IT service improvement measures.

What will you do as an IT Professional?

You will be responsible for our IT service desk, a few of your main tasks will include:

• Front line team member for employee IT support requests;
• Purchasing and allocation of IT equipment;
• Installing and configuring software and hardware components, systems and networks;
• Monitoring and maintaining systems and networks;
• User account administration;
• Developing and maintaining appropriate documentation and procedures;
• Identifying areas for improvement within our IT department by researching and identifying enabling systems and technologies;

What is your profile?

You are proactive and used to taking ownership and responsibility. You are able to multitask and manage your own time effectively with little supervision. You have excellent social skills, communicate in a professional manner, and take initiative to go the extra mile.

You have completed an ICT Management study, worked for at least 2 years in an IT environment and you are available for 20 hours per week. We are an international company, so it’s important that you can communicate both in Dutch and in English. .
