The company is also engaged with creative co-development and DLC projects and is developing an unannounced internal game based on an original IP.

In our new IT Specialist, we’re looking for someone that’s naturally curious and enjoys growing and changing within an ever-evolving team. You have a great understanding of PC hardware and are interested in the games industry or have a passion for games yourself. Next to that, you are a true system engineer, with multiple years of experience in helpdesk support XP and are not afraid of a challenge. You are also happy to help your co-workers, assisting them in tech-heavy matters. Coding skills and PowerShell knowledge are a big plus.

What Will You Be Doing At Abstraction

We are looking for someone savvy to maintain and improve the systems used for building our games as well as within our organization. As our new IT Specialist, you’ll assist our IT Manager in change management and continuously improving our IT documentation, all while you are taking on support tickets and requests.

You will be responsible for improving our IT infrastructure to better support the business and our staff, while monitoring and maintaining our internal and external systems. Of course, you will perform regular firmware checks and update our appliances, but you will also seek ways to automate and simplify the management of our IT infrastructure and run projects and implement extensive changes to the organization.

It will be part of your role to manage and create an overview of our current hardware stock and take care of our software licenses. You will set up a variety of dev kits and test kits (PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch) within our new network infrastructure and manage them accordingly.

Also of great importance is the Parsec software that we use. It’s vital that our new IT Specialist knows how to work with Parsec or has the necessary training to be able to do so in the future.

What You Will Bring Along

You will be part of an agile, multidisciplinary, and creative team, and you will work closely with them to ensure the best results for our company. To offer close team support, you will be expected to work on-site at least 2-3 days a week. The rest of the days can be remote. The IT team will consist of you and our IT Manager.
