Prytania Media is seeking an IT Services Lead to own and mature our IT infrastructure and Development Tools for a new and growing set of distributed game studios, Possibility Space and Crop Circle Games, comprised of talented developers, engineers, testers, artists, designers, and producers.
Reporting to the Development Platform Director, this role works closely with leads and our IT Managed Services partner to provide a robust set of applications and systems that enables our all-remote teams to build amazing experiences for our players.
Core Responsibilities & Objectives
- Partner with our IT Managed Services Provider to deliver a great experience for your colleagues
- Plan, coordinate and deliver corporate IT initiatives to improve employee experience and efficiency
- Develop a support plan and be part of back-up support for our Development Tools (Perforce, Jira, Confluence, AWS, etc)
- Continually assess and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company to meet our evolving needs
- Partner with Studio Leads, HR, Finance, and Legal for smooth onboarding & offboarding
- Drive consistency in software procurement, licensing and provisioning / deprovisioning processes
- Manage IT projects, work with vendors, and communicate with stakeholders about project status
- Manage departmental budget and forecasting
- Ensure Risk Mitigation plans are built for distributed technology environments
- Support all audit and security initiatives
Core Traits (Skills, Knowledge, Experience)
- 4+ years of DevOps, IT Operations, IT Engineering, or System Administrator experience
- Working knowledge of IT and engineering technologies and operations
- Experience with Development Tools & Technologies (Perforce, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, AWS, etc)
- Ability to quickly learn new subject matter areas, assess operational maturity, establish KPI's and metrics and drive towards operational maturity
- Experience leading IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
- Strong focus on automation and process streamlining
- Diligent mentality, robust sense of responsibility/accountability, and strong verbal/written communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Bonus Traits
- Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and asset management
- Experience working with externally sourced IT MSP’s with a consistent track record of setting and meeting project timelines and expectations
- Experience managing and developing people

- Close vision to monitors and screens, consistently working on computer equipment such as keyboards and monitors, long periods of sitting
