IT Project Manager

This position is responsible for the project management of Jagex’ s Infrastructure deployment and upgrade projects across multiple infrastructure locations. You will interact with multiple teams to move projects along from inception to completion in a timely manner, provide forecasted timelines as projects progress and accurately track completion. Manage supporting information to provide project updates, analyse data for accuracy and completion, and communicate with infrastructure teams any potential issues on project progress.

Host and run multiple project team meetings on a recurring basis to communicate, manage team progress, and manage resources as needed.

Must have excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills, be self-motivated, able to work multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to work independently.

Key Duties Include:

• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan, and facilitate customer acceptance.
• Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the Project
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
• Record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques (e.g. planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project charter.
• Effectively collaborate with business unit leaders to define, prioritize, and support key requirements and objectives
• Communicates information and ideas verbally, in writing or through presentation/meetings so others will understand.
• Ensure compliance with all standards and practices.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that projects are adhered to within deadlines to ensure there is tasks/projects are executed.
• Attend meetings, as requested, taking notes and logging actions and owners.
• Responsible for providing accurate Capital and Expense budget forecasts.
• Monthly/weekly reporting on IT project status and completions.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven working experience in project management, in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
• Experienced and working knowledge within Agile or Project Management framework
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening, questioning ,team working skills and the ability to speak to technical and non technical teams.
• Familiarity with project management/task tracking software
• Maturity and operational problem solving/decision making experience
• Ability to lead and work with a diverse group of stakeholders
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Atlassian applications
• Proven analytical & problem-solving abilities, combined with excellent attention to detail.
• Have excellent organisational & prioritisation skills, ability to complete multiple projects in a timely manner & can work efficiently under pressure.
• A good understanding of Agile Methodologies, experience working in Kanban, or as part of a cross-functional team
• A customer service focus, with an excellent ability to handle customers effectively; with a qualification or work experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening, questioning & team working skills.
• Ability to present ideas & troubleshooting procedures in business-friendly & user-friendly language.
• Proven analytical & problem-solving abilities, combined with excellent attention to detail.
• Have excellent organisational & prioritisation skills, ability to complete multiple projects in a timely manner & can work efficiently under pressure.
