What You'll do
We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our studio’s IT operations. You will be responsible for acquiring, designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining equipment and services that support the studio’s desired business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
IT support:
- Manage the IT support process while ensuring that business service levels are met.
- Establish mechanisms for identity and user access management according to organizational policies.
- Solving problems that occur with employee devices in Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Adept at helping resolve technical issues for employees in a courteous and efficient manner.
Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure IT equipment, software licenses, and technical support.
- Work with Hasbro’s Vendor Management Office to procure and negotiate contracts.
- Participate in negotiating contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and maintain positive relationships.
Project Management:
- Oversee IT projects within the studio, including software implementations and system migrations.
- Plan project timelines, allocate resources, coordinate with partners, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Security:
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the studio's data, networks, and intellectual property.
- Develop security policies, conduct risk assessments, and manage access controls.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure that the studio's IT operations align with relevant industry standards, legal regulations, and data privacy requirements as per Wizards of the Coast security and compliance policies.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Responding to IT support tickets addressing employee needs.
- Ensuring that new employees have the hardware and access to services that they require to do their work.
- Onboarding and Offboarding employees from tools and services.
- Managing IT projects within the studio.
- Collaborating with other teams at Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro for various IT related tasks and projects.
- Working towards incorporating Single Sign-On (SSO) for the various apps and services we use at our studio.
- Managing our Github organization to keep it well organized and secure.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of work experience in IT
- Good understanding of computer networking and hardware.
- Experience working with domain names and DNS.
- Experience with email protocols like SMTP and IMAP.
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Able to multi-task and organize priorities.
- Great teammate who strives to do good work and make others happy by delivering a good service.
