Hunt A Killer is now working on additional ways to distribute its mystery game content including licensing and digital.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Hunt A Killer is seeking an IT Manager to oversee our company’s technology operations, including the company’s SaaS platforms, relationships with technology service providers, and managing cloud resources. The IT Manager will be responsible for supporting the IT needs of the organization and maintaining the security of critical company-managed accounts.
The IT Manager will also work closely with the executive staff and decision-makers in other departments in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized and have a proven track record of successfully managing a Company's technology operations.
Our technology environment is built on modern SaaS and public cloud services, so experience with these types of systems is a plus. You will be responsible for administrating services such as Google Workspace, M365, WP Engine, Shopify, Dropbox, Slack, Atlassian, Cloudflare, and AWS CloudFront, as well as the Mac and Windows laptop environments.
LOCATION - HYBRID
We expect this role to work in our warehouse location in Baltimore, MD approximately 2-days per month.
YOU'RE THRILLED ABOUT THIS ROLE BECAUSE YOU WILL
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring that all systems are running efficiently, effectively, and securely
- Oversee technology infrastructure planning (short and long-term) to ensure reliable and efficient operations
- Direct and oversee enterprise-wide computer and user management
- Evaluate the current level of IT support delivery capabilities and develop an actionable improvement plan with regular reporting on progress. Near-term, responsible for deploying new or enhancing existing ITSM solutions, creating dashboards and SLAs, managing metrics, and driving continuous improvement in day-to-day operationsManage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, patching, upgrade, and support of IT systems and computer hardware
- Manage end-user services, including Jira Service Desk and technical support services
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure that all technology systems and processes are standardized and streamlined across the organization
- Work with other departments to identify and address technology needs, and to develop solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity
- Ensure the security of all technology systems and data, including the development and implementation of security protocols and disaster recovery plans
- Protect the company and its technology operations against risks, including unauthorized access to information, data integrity issues, loss of processing capability, and disruption to IT services
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring that all products and services are meeting the company’s needs and standards
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends, and provide recommendations to senior management on how to leverage new technology to improve business operations
- Develop and manage the IT department’s budget, ensuring that all expenditures are within the approved budget and in line with the company’s strategic goals
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

- BS in Information Technology or a related field
- 8 years of IT experience with working knowledge of SaaS platform administration and corporate cybersecurity
- Experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator is strongly desired
- Experience working in SaaS-first companies Administration experience with Google Workspace, M365, WP Engine, Shopify, Dropbox, Slack, Atlassian, Cloudflare, and AWS CloudFront
- Excellent understanding of best-in-class IT practices
- Ability to budget for each new project, tracking project and required expenses
- Scripting languages/automation experience a plus
- Experience building disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly
- Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computingTechnical knowledge of PC operating systems, current network hardware, protocols, and standards
- Experience with Service Management software or comparable ITSM software such as Jira Service Desk
- Worked with Azure or other public cloud offerings
- Experience administering Azure resources
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and work well as a productive member of the team
- Comfortable with handling ambiguity and collaborating across different functional teams and departments
- Flexible self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and experience working in a fast pace, changing environment (i.e., startup)
- Proactive and not afraid to roll up his/her sleeves and do the tactical work
- A constant, unyielding desire to overdeliver, going above and beyond what is required in any given situation
