IT Junior Support Specialist

Millions of players interact daily with Outplay games. Information Technology is critical to the day to day running of our production and support teams.

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team. The Information Technology team is responsible for ensuring the internal systems, required by our production and business support teams, remain stable, secure and performant.

The Role

This role is ideal for someone looking to start their IT career with a dynamic and fast paced business within the mobile games industry.

As a Junior Support Specialist, you will be responsible for 1st line support of the business functions, however this isn’t your standard helpdesk role. You will be expected to get involved in all aspects of the IT department, from user support, security, server management and project work.

The ideal candidate is passionate about working with IT systems and is excited about the latest technology (PCs, Apple, mobile devices, servers and cloud computing).

The role will offer you the opportunity to provide meaningful impact to the company whilst working with computing hardware, software and cloud technologies in a production environment.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• A strong understanding of computing hardware (PC and Apple)
• Experience of Windows / Apple operating systems
• Understanding of network technology and security.
• Experience using mobile hardware (Android, Amazon and iOS devices)
• Understanding of cloud computing / SaaS concepts
• Attention to detail

Bonus Experience

You will find these areas valuable in this role, but they aren't absolute requirements:

• Experience with cloud computing (Azure and AWS)
• Experience of Linux operating systems
• SaaS environments such as Office365 and GSuite
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Experience of helpdesk environments.
