IT Engineer

This role is based in the Internal IT Department at Jagex. Your purpose is driving the backlog of end user vulnerabilities down, ensuring automation is adopted when it can. You also be required to assist with any other IT tasks when required. We are vibrant team, and we are looking for someone who can deliver value whilst be an integral part of the team.

Drive our initiative with implementing vulnerability management at Jagex in the End User Computing space.

Ensure deliverables set are achieved in time with operational tool set defined.

Reduce backlog of work, ensuring automation is adopted to reduce future work.

Diagnose, resolve, and mitigate any problems and incidents affecting Vulnerability Management.

Ensure risk is recorded in our risk register.

Ensure business communication and IT are consulted and always communicated.

Ensure impact to end user workforce is minimal.

Ensure all implementations adhere to our implementation and definition of done to our standards.

Produce process & operational documentation that is clear & comprehensive (where required)

Manage the status and progress of the project until its completion.

Regular status updates will need to be provided to teams as well as the management team.

Requirements

• Good working Knowledge and Experience with SCCM, Windows Defender, Windows Endpoint Manager (Intune), PowerShell
• Good working Knowledge and Experience with JAMF suite to manage Mac Environment (any knowledge of bash scripting beneficial)
• Good knowledge of patch management cycle
• Able to communicate with End Users and work as part of a team.
