Striking Distance Studios is currently seeking an IT Coordinator to join our team and help coordinate activities for our busy department. In this role you will be a significant contributor, not only to the SDS IT/Security team but a key partner to the game studio production and operation teams. You will be responsible for procuring hardware/software assets as well as making sure that onboarding of new employees and partners go smoothly. You will help with scheduling vendors and making sure to track key deliveries within key projects and work with the Head of IT/Security on communicating expectations to internal teams. The individual for this role must possess solid technical skills, good time management and organization skills, as well as experience with dealing with external vendors.
Your responsibilities include:
- Procurement of assets (hardware/software) and help the team fulfill internal requests and keep proper inventory levels
- Helping develop IT/Security process to ensure there is accountability and consistency
- Helping improve onboarding process and communications
- Partnering with production teams to anticipate ongoing needs and trends
- Monitoring and improving project timelines, deliverables and communicating deadlines and expectations
- Scheduling 3rd party vendors, maintenance techs, and any external activities
You will be a perfect fit if you have:
- 3+ years in information technology coordination and working in tech
- Experience in project management or customer success type environments
- The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, effective at time management, and requires minimal supervision
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities, the ability to develop creative solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for the gaming industry, security, or your job discipline
- Great collaboration skills and ability to work as a team across multiple disciplines
- Great communication skills, as well as good interpersonal and relationship building skills
