Job Description

Procurement Department:

Our departement is responsible for selecting the right supplier at the right price based on Ubisoft’s needs for goods and services.

Our team’s mission is to in reduce costs, add value and quality to our internal clients, assess and control external risks.

To reach its objectives, the procurement department must act as a business partner in the definition of needs and the purchasing strategy, in the negotiation tactics and in the supplier relationship management.

Your role:

Part of the global procurement team, the IT Buyer is in charge of procurement for IT projects such as hardware, software, hosting, connectivity and related services.

As Ubisoft is expanding in Asia, the IT Buyer will support global operations, as well as site level operations. Such activities may include: managing the global/local suppliers, ensuring the compliance of contracts, and managing Suppliers’ performance including improvement programs.

He/She drives the local strategy and procurement process while working closely with local and global IT teams. He/She will optimize cost and control risks.

In addition, the IT Buyer is expected to act as a team member at both the local and global level for the Procurement Department.

Your missions are:

§ Provide all necessary activities to meet targeted deadlines and costs while adhering to the strategies established with your management

§ Manage vendors qualification and optimize supplier panel, source and qualify new suppliers that bring value to Ubisoft

§ Demonstrate leadership with your internal stakeholders, collaborate with them to understand requirements and work on solutions

§ Lead financial and contractual negotiations

§ Report to your management using our internal procurement tools and work on Procurement KPIs

§ Liaise with sourcing partners to coordinate the execution of small to medium agreements

§ Manage daily requests for quotes from IT teams

Qualifications

§ BA / BS degree required with focus on Procurement & Sourcing

§ 3-5 years demonstrated procurement experience required

§ Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) / French would be appreciated

§ Excellent oral communications skills for work with vendors and internal customers

§ Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work to established priorities

§ Demonstrated leadership and project management skills

§ Expert negotiations and vendor management skills

§ Experience in video game industry is a plus
