The IT Department of UBISOFT is looking for a IT Business Analyst on our Finance domain. You will work on international projects related to deployments, integrations and evolutions of IT solutions, on various Finance tools (mainly on our main ERP Oracle PeopleSoft).
Your role will be to work within project teams and transform business needs into solutions, whether these solutions result in product configurations, product developments, trainings or process recommendations, for Ubisoft teams around the world.
Your main mission
- You actively participate to the scoping phase: business requirements gathering, definition of business rules and processes of our internal clients on Finance
- Translate business requirements in functional specifications and assist the development team during the implementation of solutions
- You are responsible of the functional setup of the designed solution and related interfaces
- You are responsible of the integration tests, and UAT phases (definition of the tests plan, follow-up of the progress, …), deliver training and documentation, ensure knowledge transfer to support teams during or at the end of project
- Within a project team, you act as the expert and main point of contact for all the stakeholders, on topics related to Finance stream
- As project team member, execute assigned tasks and communicate status to the Project Manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies
The professional value you bring
- Previous experience as Business Analyst on various project phases and activities of IT projects (preferably ERP)
- Very good knowledge in accounting and finance area (Procure to Pay , Order to Cash, General Ledger, Interco transactions, Bank reconciliation)
- Excellent skills in requirement identification & analysis, business process design and communication with various kind of stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills, logical and structured thinking, creativity in problem solving
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Visio
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose using SQL, Excel or other data analysis tools
- Very good English level; French would be a plus
