Creative Assembly is looking for an experienced IT Administrator to join our IT team based at our studio in Horsham, in the heart of West Sussex.
In this exciting role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the IT team. Working alongside the wider IT team, you will help maintain departmental processes and assist with technical procurement.
Flexible working at Creative Assembly includes hybrid, fully remote within country of employment for eligible roles, and in-studio. We recognise that there is no one-size-fits-all approach and empower our teams to define the working patterns which work best for them, which may mean different things for different teams and roles and at different times.
This role can be offered as in-studio or as hybrid with an expectation of 2 days per week in our Horsham studio. This role cannot offer fully remote working. Further details can be discussed during the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
As IT Administrator you will be a key member of the team building strong relationships with the wider IT team as well as Studio Support, Finance and SEGA Legal teams.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Take responsibility and ownership of keeping all IT department written processes up to date and documenting new processes
- Maintain and update IT pages and articles on the IT intranet
- Assist with day-to-day software purchasing alongside the Procurement Administrator, ensuring the processes are followed correctly
- Maintain the GDPR and Data Protection processes on behalf of the Data Privacy Officer for Company
- Assist with the gathering and management of budgets and providing analysis and stats on IT spending
- Build and maintain relationships with all suppliers, ensuring we get the best deals and quickest delivery timeframes
- Assist project lead with project related documentation and administration tasks
- Work with SEGA compliance and governance teams to maintain processes and action requests
- Work with SEGA legal and the IT team to manage and process all necessary legal requests
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in office administration and purchasing
- Excellent organisation and multitasking skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Knowledge of GDPR processes
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable
- Experience working with legal processes
- Experience using Oracle
- Working knowledge of ITSM/ITIL.
