Human Resources Representative

POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Representative will be responsible for updating and maintaining the HRIS (Workforce Now) and ATS/Onboarding Software (Greenhouse), as well as assist with various HR Initiatives including: compensation, employee relations, coordinating training needs, supporting the BNEA Talent Acquisition function and special HR projects, as assigned.
Flexible, Remote and Work From Home options are available for this position until approximately April 2022. Afterwards we expect all employee's to join us at our new offices in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compensation: Assist with salary & benefits surveys; perform compensation analyses; provide support with year-end projects, such as, updating merit spreadsheets, bonus calculations, etc.
- HR Metrics: Prepare workforce planning reports, turnover reports, and organizational chart.
- HRIS and Systems Administration: Maintain HRIS (ADP) Benefits portal, and ATS/Onboarding software (Greenhouse)
- Immigration: Partner with our immigration attorneys during the Visa/Green Card process
- Employee Relations: The HR Representative will partner with managers in coaching and counseling and act as a resource to facilitate optimum performance for the organization.
- Maintain and audit confidential HR Personnel files to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
- The HR Representative will act as a “concierge” for BNEA Talent Acquisition function and ensure a top-notch candidate experience from initial contact through offer/rejection to include: scheduling onsite interviews, arranging travel, shepherding the onsite interview process, preparing offer letters for approvals, and reference checking.
- Perform other duties as necessary as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1-3 years in Human Resources including experience with HRIS systems.
- Solid understanding of Human Resource principles, policies and practices
- Understanding of Federal, California, other state and local legal considerations related to Human Resource administration.
- Ability to learn new functions and concepts quickly; self-starter with high energy.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to work with employees (executives, managers, etc.) from diverse cultures and an ability to communicate effectively and provide support as necessary.
- Excellent judgment in dealing with confidential, sensitive information.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, as well as, organizational skills.
- Collaborative nature and ability to influence and partner with all levels of employees.
- Experience using ADP, Microsoft Suite tools (including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel), ATS/Onboarding - Greenhouse a plus.
