Position Purpose

Pipeworks Studios is looking for a full-time HR Assistant to aid and facilitate the core functional areas of talent acquisition and new hire onboarding. This role will also provide administrative support as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS data entry.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with recruitment and interview process through tracking the status of candidates in Jobvite and responding with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process
  • Proactive use of human resource software to assist Management with recruitment, onboarding, process improvement, communication and aligning with company goals
  • Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the HR Business Partner and hiring managers
  • Complete and verif y I-9 documentation and maintain employee / candidate files on our network
  • Keep track of employee time - off requests
  • Keep up to date on company benefits and administer plans to employees
  • Submit online investigation requests and back ground checks
  • Assist employees by answering HR related questions, concerns, grievances, and take appropriate action or escalate if required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills Sets

• Effective interpersonal, communication , and problem-solving skills

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

• Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures

• H onest and ethical with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality

• Accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations

• Be reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations

• Ability and willingness to treat the public, vendors, and coworkers in a manner consistent with the Company's vision, values, and policies

  • Work independently and as a member of a team
  • Solid computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook

• Proficiency with HRIS (ADP preferred) and Applicant Tracking Systems

Education & Experience Required

  • Associates degree in HR or a related field preferred
  • 1 years of experience in an administrative HR role
