Your Mission
As Hearthstone Senior Brand Manager, you will craft & drive plans to maximise the success of the Hearthstone franchise in EMEA.
In a company that serves and engages millions of players across EMEA, you will contribute to building the most sophisticated data-driven and player-centric commercial and marketing practices
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Drive the overall planning and execution of the franchise commercial plan with the rest of the go-to-market organisation and close partnership with HQ
- Steward EMEA player and market needs across all facets of global and regional campaign development
- Lead with ambitious, clear and inspiring annual regional growth strategies
- Aggregate input from cross functional teams (marketing, PR, social, community, etc) but be the single voice of truth on comprehensive return on investment and performance of EMEA campaigns and growth initiatives
- Manage EMEA franchise brand activities, live operations, publishing calendars and budget tracking for the brand. Facilitate and streamline processes established in coordination with global development and publishing, as well as EMEA management
- Lead and encourage cross functional & development teams regarding franchise day-to-day operations, publishing tactics & business updates.
- Develop and promote a deep understanding of the ecosystem of your franchise (gameplay, business, community, etc.) in the specific context of EMEA markets, with multiple countries, languages, currencies.
- Contribute to the definition of the business model in EMEA (pricing, languages, etc.)
- Generate and follow up on business reporting (in partnership with business intelligence and finance) related to monetization, in game metrics and franchise engagement.
Player Profile
- Previous experience of driving sustainable revenue growth through marketing and commercial leavers, working across the entire product mix (pricing, promo, product, comms)
- Strong analytical, planning, and forecasting skills.
- Solution oriented and creatively minded, not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Proven experience in the use of consumer insight (business intelligence, market research) and applying it to developing brand/product strategies and innovative integrated campaigns in order to enhance go-to-market impact across EMEA.
- Also experienced in uncovering country insights and using them to fuel growth, not just at region but also market level
- Able to demonstrate your world class experience and understanding of gaming market consumer trends, marketing standard methodologies, and commercial metrics
- Previous brand and business management experience within mobile (gaming or apps) or a related industry, with experience and knowledge of European game markets.
- Be comfortable and capable of influencing senior HQ partners (mostly US based) to champion the needs of the region in campaign and product development without formal authority
- Comfortable multitasking with project management and go-to-market program management experience.
- Passion for gaming, marketing and creativity is key
- While non-essential, experience in launching and supporting games in the CIS or the Middle East region will be desirable, as well as experience working with Apple and Google
